He'd had a big day tilting at Mexican windmills, imagining large dreams and articulating grand visions. His slightly lunatic character gave him color, at least in terms of the local populace, but by the time he reached Plaza Kioto he was exhausted and he just needed to rest for a time. Creaturely comforts were not so important.
