Girl With a Rucksack

In the past I have featured a few of the art works in the New Gorbals.

I photographed this one a few times although I didn't use it. I suppose I was saving it until later. Well, today is the day. Its one of the largest and most prominent of the pieces, and as you can see is just next to the police station.

The sculpture is by Kenny Hunter one of the best known sculptors working out of Glasgow (he was actually born in Edinburgh). I think this one is excellent.
