Boat-Tail Grackle

This fine fellow is coal black, but at certain angles to the sun, he glistens. He was at the golf course restaurant this noon scrounging for his lunch and doing a little begging on the side.

He was captured by my pocket camera at 12x zoom. Remarkable that this device has only a 3x optical zoom. The optical zoom is enhanced with a 4x digital zoom, resulting in the 12x final zoom.
