of cardboard

Another 4m³ of stuff packed, with only half a binbagsworth of stuff filtered off for disposal/recycling. Hopefully we won't need to get at the electrical socket behind the small wall of boxes anytime before Thursday when the matter will hopefully have been transferred elsewhere; it'll make it a bit difficult to include the router when going round and turning off all electrical devices when they're not in use but it'll only be one device for a few days.

Haven't been outside much today apart from a quick pop to work to collect the latest collection of paper-boxes from their nest underneath my desk, feeling mildly suspicious-looking when so doing but trying to not look like I'm not trying to deliberately not look too suspicious deliberately when passing underneath security cameras. Although it would be unlikely that anyone stealing office paper would attempt to steal it forty reams at a time there must be the odd person somewhere who uses the old just-recycling-these-old-boxes trick to sneak the odd item of stationery out. Balancing the eight boxes was reasonably easy walking around inside and even going down three flights of stairs but the minute I stepped outside they kept getting repeatedly blown off the top of the stack by the wind, hopefully further demonstrating their emptiness to any security people still watching.

To counteract the inactivity I popped back out for a trot around the hill just before it became too late, encountering the extensive and slightly excessive preparations for the Bupa run tomorrow. The row of nearly one hundred portative conveniences might have been good to blip if I'd walked and taken my camera instead of run with only a phone. The many cones and multiple tents looked nice and eerie in the darkness but I think I'll avoid the whole area tomorrow as there's bound to be some sources of unpleasantly loud noiser here when it all gets switched on.
