Fern fronds and spores on turquoise

Three fernlets on a hen and chickens fern frond with sporangia (husband's a biologist - things have to be right!!) with lots of spores. These plants also reproduce by having little plants on the fronds hence the hen and chickens name. i liked the way it was green on a turquoise background.

The scientific name is Asplenium but there are several - most of the ones you buy are a hybrid, the only true Asplenium bulbiferum is found in the forests and is native.
