Peach rose

Still trying to get things ready for work on the 1st July so finding it difficult to get out and get photographs so the garden was once again very agreeable and helped me out of a difficult spot.

This is one of about 12 different types of roses in our back garden and the light just seemed right for the photograph.

Also didn't quite manage to capture a picture of a butterfly so here's a poem by Wordsworth as compensation:

'To a Butterfly'

I've watched you now a full half-hour;
Self-poised upon that yellow flower
And, little Butterfly! Indeed
I know not if you sleep or feed.
How motionless! - not frozen seas
More motionless! and then
What joy awaits you, when the breeze
Hath found you out among the trees,
And calls you forth again!
