Inchmickery

Inchmickery looking particularly like a battleship. In WWII it was a gun emplacement, and the shape was a deliberate attempt to fool enemy submarines into thinking it was a dangerous battleship, poised to sink them.

It looks pretty blowy down there, but it was lovely and calm at Green End Gulley at Eyemouth where I was diving with a few friends today. Some of the folk I was with had new kit to try so I didn't take my camera - fewer distractions. Of course no camera meant lots of great life. Butterfish, Sea Scorpions, Spiny Squat Lobsters, Common Lobsters, Pollack...

A great day out.
