A time for everything

Sunset

Friday
Off camping again for the weekend, this time to east central Ohio, near Zanesville. It had been raining much of the day but was still hot and sticky. It seemed to have dried up around here by late afternoon, but we hadn't gone far before we ran into some dark threatening clouds. We went in and out of showers most of the way, but fortunately nothing severe. We reached the campsite around 7.15 and there was still some light drizzle, but while we were putting the camper up it began to dry up and the sky began to clear, and by the time the sun was setting, we were treated to this glorious sunset. I wouldn't have believed it possible from some of the skies as we were driving up! The campsite was pretty nice - obviously many, if not most of the campers are there for the season, if not year round - but it was very quiet, both from the point of view of road noise and people noise.
