A recreated wolf...

The last wolf in Scotland is said to heve been killed on the River Findhorn in 1743. There were claims that it had killed two children.

A couple of years ago there was a serious drive to have the wolf reintroduced - but farmers were incensed at the thought of putting into the wild an efficient predator of live stock.

This wolf in the heart of Edinburgh has been carved in a garden out of a redundant tree stump. Doesn't look ready to predate anything, does it?
