Côte de Somewhere

We headed off to Taroudant from Essaouira today having been told it was a fantastical city straight out of medieval times. A very early start after one of those nights where you're clock watching with very little sleep and the slight hangover didn't help (pesky bacardi and cokes, I blame A ;D )
What a drive! I took numerous photos along the way of this utterly wild landscape but nothing could do it justice. It reminded me of Cabo de Gata in Spain only wilder still. I frequently drove on the wrong side of the road (bad habit of mine) which kept A awake at least and we finally arrived in Taroudant after about 4 hrs or so - what a let down! We tried, honestly, but there wasn't much of merit in this one horse town so we turned around and headed back again picking up a couple of honeymooning hitchhikers along the way.
This photo was taken along the coast somewhere, just next to an incredible surf beach. I tried to remember the name at the time but it's gone now :) The light all along this coastline was really quite beautiful, surreal almost
