Wheel of Fortune

On the way home last night, I passed Westminster Palace again (Houses of Parliament / Big Ben for our non-UK blippers - see Yesterday's blip) and it was still all blocked off with lots of police and journalists. The BBC had set up a stage in front of the Houses of Parliament and were interviewing politicians on it. When I was passing I saw them interviewing William Hague (interesting to note blippers that he still thinks he's the leader of the conservative party!!). Naturally I stopped and waved my arms, held up a sign saying "Hi Mum" and took a couple of photos (well, only the later actually).

This morning when on the way to work and taking shots of the London Eye I was thinking about political careers and how similar they were to The Wheel of Fortune (TV game show) - never know when you might land on an unlucky square. William's career as head of the Tory party wasn't very successful - and he just came across as smarmy all the time.

Any blippers out there remember sother TV classics that might match politics? Lost perhaps :-)

Off back up north this afternoon, so will be out of touch for a couple of days until the broadband arrives... Still no chickens being counted!
