Old Glass

I had given an old Minolta X500 plus MC/MD mount lenses to StevieFish a while back. It turned out that they had been sitting the whole time in his cabinet at work, so I offered to take them back if he didn't want them. So, I bought a cheap lens converter on eBay, and can now mount them on my Canon DSLR for a wee bit of experimenting. The only downside is the manual focusing, and the fact that they're that old that they don't report any EXIF data to the camera.

Finally caught up on blipping too - decided to reinstall the PC last week, so only just got around to installing Lightroom tonight, plus we were away for the weekend for a wee trip up north to Nethy Bridge. Back blips start here, for anyone interested.

This photo was shot using one of the old lenses - a Tamrom SP 35-80mm f/2.8 Macro, although the grain and vignetting were added in Lightroom
