Jellyfish

This is a pair of jellyfish at the National Aquarium in Baltimore, from a long-running special exhibition entitled "Jellies Invasion: Oceans out of Balance," which conveys the message that jellyfish are a key indicator of the trouble our oceans are in.

Just one of many potential blips today, especially at the aquarium, but also at the Baltimore Museum of Art, which is wonderful--perhaps above all the Cone Collection, which includes Matisse and French impressionists. There was also a small special exhibition of abstract sculptures, featuring the American David Smith.
