King Parrots

It was a toss up today between a flower and a bird.
I'd much prefer to be photographing people, but they don't always present themselves.
I'm very envious of those blippers who have young children or grandchildren to snap freely.

This is not a great photo of a stunning bird. I don't have the right lens and they're very timid, so this is tightly cropped.
But they are very beautiful and a pretty sight at the end of a beautiful summer day.
