The Lozarithm Lens

Malmesbury

Today I managed to get out of town and ventured as far as Malmesbury. The days are still too short for me to begin to do it justice and I shall have to return. It's on the River Avon, so will feature in my occasional river series, though today I only walked a short way along a tributary, the Tetbury Avon.

My blip, though, is of Malmesbury Abbey, or at least a small section of it. The wall seemed to incorporate a dovecote which might explain the preponderance of birdlife camouflaged in the windows. Another example of art improved by nature.
