HMS Liverpool

Another ship on her last visit to Liverpool before being decommissioned. I know she's 30 years old and was due to be retired anyway, but its still kinda sad to see her like this. Anyone who has seen the excellent documentary on Channel 5 about HMS Manchester on drug patrol in the Caribbean will know that these ships are held together with gaffer tape and have really come to the end of their useful lives.

If you look at the big size you might be able to make out the plaque of a Liver Bird on her funnel (just above the right column).
