It was a long time ago that my journey with photography began.  As a boy I would spend lots of time with my father in the darkroom, helping to develop and print his images. And then after starting work I setup and ran the departments darkroom.  If I was not at my work desk, I could usually be found in the darkroom; it was a great job!.   Then came a home and family of my own and the photography took a back seat for many years with the darkroom, and cameras, confined to boxes of things stored in the loft.   It was about 10years ago that things changed and I decided that time was getting short to re-invigorate my interests.  So here I am today.  Having enjoyed a few workshops with John Gravett in the English Lakes, who first introduced me to blip, I am a latecomer to the party but really enjoying the community and challenges to document my experiences.

Well it is now 700 consecutive blips and this year has been tricky and not regular with the blip entries, although I still capture images everyday there is a publishing backlog occasionally, but I am looking forward to continuing the journey and enjoying your company on the way.
