I'm a 40-ish working mum of two energetic young boys.

Photography has been something I remember being around me from a very young age. My dad has so many albums of his life before my mum and us, and then with us and I love flicking through the physicality of a photo album. As I got older I shared this interest with him and learnt how to develop my own B&W films (I spent my entire summer wages as a 17 yr old on my Canon SLR).

Time, and life, seem to have gotten in the way of taking so many pictures, or rather taking them as part of every day and not just on 'special' occasions. Although every year I print out enough prints to put in an album for my boys to let them do the same thing as I did, to be able to tell their story.

My wish is that being part of Blipfoto will re-ignite the joy and wonder I felt when I was younger. To look at life and see the big, the small and the downright odd again.
