Originally from Dunblane in Scotland, now living in B.C. Canada. One husband, one daughter, one dog. I've had some wonderful nostalgic journeys through journals taking me back to my previous haunts in Scotland and through New Zealand where we spent 8 months years ago.

I was lucky to come from a family who love the mountains so that is where I am the most inspired with life. Skiing has always been a huge part of my life and there's still nothing to beat a powder day:)

Since joining blip I look at daily life differently and the camera goes with me everywhere. I'm enjoying trying to give you a taste of life in B.C. with its distinct seasons and hope to capture some of its beauty.

I have a Nikon P7000 which I love because it is small enough to take everywhere without big camera bags. Sometimes I wish I had an SLR with all the lenses to be able to zoom in more but for now it's portability is key. I also don't have photoshop or Lightroom so what I see is what you get :)

Update Sep, 2014
Recently I've been concentrating on my artwork and spending less time on blip but I really appreciate your visits and my apologies for not commenting much these days. I have got out of the habit of daily photos but more into of habit of daily painting and the practice is finally starting to pay off. I will try to get back into daily photos but when you're not doing it every day, the momentum definitely diminishes. I limit myself to 5 minutes a day for blip and scan through everyone's pictures daily. I do try to use up my quota of daily favs :)
