The accidental finding

We've been given our marching orders from our two offices (the nice one, above) and the dungeon, which I've blipped a few times before. Our rooms are needed by phlebotomists. They start the week after next. I've only had the use of the Nice room for a year, because it didn't have a phone line or Internet when we were given the key.

In return, we've been offered a former filing cupboard (quite a big one) with no natural daylight or access to  fresh air. We've said that this is unacceptable, and will only use the new cupboard on Wednesdays for group meetings. The rest of the time we will work at other GP practices within the group,  or from home. I'm hoping to get another day at the town practice, though this may not be possible. This news is devastating to us as a team, though the idea was first mooted a couple of months ago, so it's not new.

I've started packing up some of the paperwork. Thank goodness for the mindfulness course, which is helping me keep sane. (The course finished tonight).

The rat is still alive and invisible, apparently.
