Yes, we set off for Liverpool. Dropped by M at the station with my kit and supplies, picked up at Waverley by MrSmith and then 5 hours of folk-drone later we arrive in New Brighton. The planned quiet night of calm before Saturday's storm went pear-shaped when the trombone, guitar, fiddle and percussion appeared. After that, it was all half-Spanish night and all beer, wine, cheese and whisky.
