The return of Woody!

Woody has become a regular visitor to the garden, I spotted him four times today. Yesterday I heard him “talking” to another nearby woodpecker who was replying. Maybe there’s a nest full of peanut-loving baby woodpeckers somewhere, though he’s also been collecting sunflower seeds. Also saw a Jay, a first in our garden.

A muggy day of sunshine and heavy showers but the forecast thunderstorms never arrived, 19 degrees.
