When I first picked up a DSLR, in Vietnam, I knew I needed to buy one for myself. Shooting pictures of the Hmong Tribe in Sa Pa, with those amazingly blurry backgrounds, was just tremendously exciting.

Back in June 2011, after I purchased a Canon 500D, I started this photo blog; mainly as a means of improving my skills.

From my first entry, and for about half a year afterwards, I took a photo everyday. Some of these pictures were terrible ones from my blackberry, but there were also some wonderful ones on my DSLR.

I now use this website less frequently, but hopefully the quality of my images are somewhat better.

I hope to take the photography skills I have developed, and indeed continue to develop, from this website to the working world of current affairs.

Please enjoy looking through my images; from a beginner, to somewhat of an enthusiast...and maybe one day I'll be taking the photos that you see on the cover of your morning newspaper.
