Mechanical engineer and industrial designer, living in Italy, happily married with two children.

SkiMe comes from an old personalized license plate.  A friend of friend in high school had SkiMe2 on a bright red VW Scirocco.  Later in University when I bought my first car, a black 1988 VW Scirocco 16V, I worked the weekends during the winters as a ski instructor in West Virginia and decided that SkiMe1 fit the attitude.  The Scirocco followed me to the mountains faithfully and on many a road trip out west to Colorado.  I keep the moniker as a reminder of the fun, free and adventurous time in my life.
