Thursday 24 May 2012: Summer Boredom
Lucky lucky lucky.
It's been hot today.
Wonderfully hot.
I was stuck in an office though. And the meeting that stretched until after 6:30pm in a room with the blinds pulled just getting hotter and hotter was no fun.
In particular since the people on the other end of the video call were all in much hotter places than Scotland (California and Israel) but were basking in air conditioning.
Our sweaty pale skinned faces must have seemed rather odd peeking out of their screens.
How ironic that the people in the coldest country were the ones baking hot.
After the meeting, while fleeing back home across Edinburgh, I came across the joy that is The Meadows on a sunny day.
Oh how I wish I could have been lounging on the meadows all day.
