Wednesday 22 May 2013: May evening

Hi Ho, hi ho, it's off to work I go....My first day today and it felt great!

I decided to extend the 1.5 mile cycle ride home and headed towards Great Chalfield Manor. The evening was warm and the fading sun broke through the trees, creating long, sharp shadows on the overgrown grass.

Built in the 15th century, the Manor is now a popular National Trust attraction.

I will share a photo of the Manor another day. I felt the light through the branches of these trees, was much more inspiring and I wanted to share it :-)
