This is Chris Robertson. We met a couple of Critical Mass rides ago and have ridden together a few times since. He is an amateur filmmaker and always good for some laughs. We had a solid Friday roll today: met at our place then we bolted to Trinity so he could order a Brooks saddle for the fixie (he has chosen wisely) that he is building. After that we headed over to the TCU area to get a quick beer and tacos from a trailer, then circled back home on the trail. When we got back, he introduced me to his good friend that happens to live in our same apartment complex and is a first-year at the medical school Leah is going to (Note: I need to introduce them). Overall, a great, decently-paced ride beneath overcast but warm skies. Success.

Can't wait to see Leah here in an hour or so. We will be having dinner together and this makes me extremely happy--I truly cherish our nights and meals together, just the two of us. While it is healthy and natural and necessary to initiate and engage in relationships outside of our own there is something so comforting about the notion of sitting down to a meal together, whatever it may be.

Not much else to report. Going to be studying crazily this weekend for the GRE as I plan on scheduling the test for next month. Ran through some practice questions for the Verbal yesterday. Did fairly decent on everything except the analogies. I hate them (I can't even come up with a good one jokingly to mock them in this post).
