Detour

Manzheimers struck on the way home. Forgot about this even though there was a warning before this sign and I'd detoured yesterday.

I've noted the date and timeline for completion.
I have my template email prepared for 26th February 2007 to send to the council.
What can possibly take them 7 weeks on a 30 yard stretch of road? You could build a row of kit houses in that time. 7 weeks!! Pipes and water mains? 7 weeks?!

In the space of 2 years they have dug up, repaired, then dug up again closing the street off 4 times (including this one). One time was for speed humps but they'd dig it up then be missing for weeks. It's a cobbled road so they have to place them all back carefully and yet the bunch of cowboys in just now used tarmac to cover something or other on the cobbles they'd taken so long to replace.
