Mimi is fighting her bad cold as best she can:
by curling up on the bean bag and exposing her bum to the heat of the fireplace. That's bound to bring the fever down.
Finnzy-Bob is checking on her at regular intervals.
Or perhaps he is double checking that she did not fall asleep on his favourite toy car.
