Thursday 17 March 2011: Rainbow Birch

Finally a splash of colour after several grey days.

I've previously called this my second favourite tree on the moor, last blipped from the other side about six weeks ago. I almost missed the rainbow, as I was so busy trying to capture the setting sun that I was oblivious to what had appeared behind me. Only when I turned for home did I see it. Ideally, the tree wouldn't be so central, but I couldn't find quite the right angle for that. Still a pleasing image though.
