Big Hill

Glaze Workshop.

This gang of women came back today to do their glaze portion of the initial workshop i did here! What a great gang they are....teaching is fun most times, but when you get a group of people that know each other very well, it is a different energy and i love it!! They had a good time, but because the glazes in their raw state look nothing like the finished state, there was much confusion and there just might be some interesting surprises when i open that kiln load!!! sometimes students do something i either haven't tried or didn't think off ....... and ta da, a new glaze combo is formed!!!

In other news....i'm going to work in the studio this afternoon, but i'll just be working with slabs of clay, making trays, and large oval platters that don't involve the wet work of using the wheel...i'm still letting my fingers heal from the other day!
