Sunday 20 March 2011: Switched On
Tonight we went to the 25th Anniversary Concert by the Linton Singers in Canongate Kirk, proceeds in aid of Mercy Ships. Varied programme, 16th century to present day music, most enjoyable, I do like sackbuts and cornetts (and crumhorns, but there weren't any tonight).
Noticed the neat lighting plan in the foyer, showing which lights are in use. It also has a meter to record running time so that they know the life-expectancy of the bulbs; and a note to use specific lights sparingly - most of them, by the look of it.
At least, I think that's what it's for.
