Thursday 24 March 2011: Just playing with macro
Have seen so many good macro photos on blip --so I spent some time playing with what I have. It's not a macro lens but an adapter I put on my regular 18-55. Not a lot of flexibility and certainly a shallow dof. Got lots of close ups of small things, coins, utensils, coffee foam and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich,(didn't manage any bugs however!) but in the end the flowers were a little more interesting. This was one of the first and mostly I like the color and the little hairs I didn't know African violets had!
