Saturday 26 March 2011: Planning for summer
I re-potted some more tomato plants this morning, which makes about 50 plants of different varieties and there are a few more varieties not ready to pot out yet, so we should be all right for tomatoes in the summer. We grow a lot because we preserve them as tomato purée to use in the winter and almost never buy tomatoes.
This is another blip for the 2011 Challenge - planning
For tomorrow I'm planning a trip to the Gers in south-western France with some friends who used to live there, to visit a marché au gras (market where ducks are on sale for making confit de canard and other delicious things) and to sample some of the other delights of that area. Probably no wifi, so I'll back-blip and catch up with commenting when I get home on Monday evening.
