Day off

Great day! Wonderful pilates session in the AM (the instructor thinks I'm strong enough to move onto the advanced class soon - awesome). Then I had a dentist appointment afterwards - got to chat with the lovely hygienist (well, to hear her chat, for the most part) and the doc as well.

Then we went to Cafe Flora for brunch, came back home, napped, then headed out again for the afternoon. We caught the light rail to Pike's Place Market and walked around for a while. This pic was taken right at the Seattle Art Museum. Couldn't believe what a gorgeous day it was - brilliant blue skies are so special here. Then it started to cloud over and rain when we got home. Perfect timing.

Made tacos, guacamole and slaw for dinner, and had chocolate cupcakes and truffles for dessert. Mmmmm.

I love having days off. Especially when they lengthen the weekend....
