Sgwarnog: In the Field

Sunday 27 March 2011: Taking Flight

Eight in the evening, and there's still some pink in the sky as we enter Summer Time. It won't be long before the lure of an evening walk on the moor wins out over my traditional blipping time.

It was late afternoon, and I still hadn't secured a picture for the day, so I spent a few minutes in the garden seeing what caught my eye. Three Collared Doves obliged by settling on a neighbour's tree, and were then disturbed by a resident crow. I like the silhouette of the tail feathers.

whispers ~ from the trees ~ three ghosts ~ take flight ~ feathers fanned
