Spinning around

Thursday is knitting night with the girls at Once A Sheep, my lovely local yarn shop. Tonight Eileen was spinning her silk and merino mix which is destined to be an actual jumper. It was watching Innes teach Eileen how to drop spindle that I fancied learning to spin myself, it was so captivating and mesmeric to watch. We have all graduated onto spinning wheels now but Eileen's jumper project will be the biggest homespun garment anyone has produced.
