hello again

FREIHAUS,

in the Carlsstrasse, part of the door, build in about 1720.
I have here the book of Robert Bohn, titled: 1699-1999.Karlshafen, economical and social history of the planned town in Hessen.
It is a very interesting book, but as it goes with books one reads and forgets. I will have to start again if I want the facts I ever would like to write here be correct.
The day started rather dark, with some sunrays coming through.
To-night our neighbours will come and so we have to clean the house a bit, and buy some food. My german talk goes slowly and many words of the practical world are non-existent and that is because we learned at school a kind of literary german, not to be used for talking.
Exactly 3 years ago I came here (for the first time) and fell in love with the house, the view, the small town of Karlshafen, the Weser and the woods of the Solling. The next week Piet Hein came to see it and and we decided then and there to buy it and spend at least 10 to 14 days in a month here.
And we are still exited every day we spend here and think a dream came true, although we did not knew that we had that dream at all.
