i LIKE NEW PATHS TO WALK

and we did that today. Up the hill near the Hugenottenturm we took the path to the left and along the Julius Höhe, a derelict restaurant, where still someone is living still.
In the time that families had outings that involved walking up the hill and have
tea or dinner there, I think that time is long past.
From there we walked along the fields, with wide views over the country and visited the Papageienhof.
A new path through the forest and there I saw a deer looking at us from above. Then she disappeared.
Rather a long walk and we had just a short time to drink tea before we went to the station to fetch Mischa who made today the long journey to spend one week with us. Happy times to come.

My haiku:

The weather cold and
The wind blew from the Northpole
Our steps are steady

And the proverb:

The messenger of good news is an object of benevolence.
