Wednesday 6 April 2011: Mazet through the vines

Taking a bit of a detour to cheer ourselves up after dropping E at the station in Béziers at the start of her journey home, we passed this mazet (vine workers' shelter) surrounded by spring vines just beginning to come into leaf.

Quite nice detail in LARGE - this is the most colourful time of year in the vineyards when the flowers come out and the vine leaves are bright, new green.

Now to spend some time sorting out my toponymy photos before a meeting about the project this evening. I'll catch up with commenting later.
