In these shoes?

Today's the day ....................... for high fashion

I have never owned a pair of shoes like these. I have no idea how anyone can stand in them - never mind walk about?!

But that's because I have always been tall. I grew up in an age when it wasn't all that common for girls to be tall and not something that you would want to draw attention to. So my shoes never had very high heels.

Nowadays, there are lots of tall girls about - taller than me - and it's something to be proud about. Tall girls wear shoes like these all the time and look fabulous.

Ah well - it's too late for me though. The rest of the body couldn't cope now ..................!
