Beetle on Wood Anemone

I went to a local wood today, greeted by a carpet of white Wood Anemones and the gentle ringing of bird song- Spring is definitely here. The bluebells are just stating to make an appearance.

The highlight was seeing my first Swallow of the year (Swifts will be next :)) ! I also saw Chiffchaffs, various tits, Pheasants, Bumblebees, several butterfly species, and Frogspawn!
