Coming Home

I finished the painting I was working on when I posted this blip on March 30th. I also created a second small painting to accompany this one. You can see them both on my fine art website. It helped to paint them side by side. I felt much freer painting the second one. It is basically a mirror image of the first. I didn't look at the reference photo at all today which accounts for a large amount of freedom I felt in getting wild with color and value. I like the two little paintings that resulted.
