Wednesday 13 April 2011: St Augustine
Spent a very productive and enjoyable day visitng this town on the coast of north east Florida.
Founded in 1565 by Spanish explorer and admiral Pedro Menéndez de Avilés it is rich in history and beauty. Packed a lot into the day but Gilliebg was right when she said you really need at least a couple of days in the place.
It also made me think of the Bob Dylan song, although it has nothing to do with the city.
By the way - the yellow corvette wasn't mine!
