Fauldhead

I didn't have to go far for this one. Just outside Kirkintilloch is the tiny former miners village of Fauldhead. The landmark is the Water Tower which I believe at one time served Woodilee Farm which no longer exists.

I don't think anyone knows who owns the tower now. I did hear that it was considered unsafe and may be demolished. So its good to get a picture of it while its still there. Having said that, I wouldn?t be surprised if its around for many years to come.
