Backside of the plant, the lights of the staircases reflecting in the water of the drainbasin.
In this basin all the water coming from the drains of the boilers is collected and part of it is treated to use again as feedwater for the boilers.
Occasionally we have to drain parts of the boilersystem when maintanance at pressure parts of the boiler has to take place (like later on this sunday)
To make sure the technicians can work safe we have to de-pressurise and drain the systems during the night.
As you might see a bit of damp is rising up from the basin because the water we drain is hot.
