Sunday 17 April 2011: Bursting open!
What a wild night we had weatherwise last night! Heavy rain, thunderstorms and wind gusts of 60 m.p.h. kept waking us up last night!!
This morning, we woke to bright blue skies with passing clouds and warmer temperatures!
This bud is bursting open, with what looks like fireworks! I photographed buds on this tree a week ago when they looks like little furry puffs.
Hopefully within a week or two, we'll start seeing some leaves on the trees!!
Today we are thinking about heading out to say hello to the Easter bunny, who will be at a local garden center!! Work tonight, then I am officially on vacation!!!
