Thursday 21 April 2011: The egg hunt
Hooray for bright sunny weather, chocolate and children. We've had a lovely afternoon in the sunshine, with friends and their children looking for Easter Eggs. The Easter Bunny had visited and left a note for the bigger ones, and had left clues for them to follow to find their treasure. The littlies (anyone under six!) had a free for all to find lots of little eggs, that had been hidden around the two gardens. (My next door neighbour and I pulled the fence panel out this morning so the children had the runof both gardens!)
Miss Pink had her birthday cake lit again, and more presents to open. And although not officially her birthday today, she spent the day wearing her "birthday" frock. And Bunny helped search for eggs. He was good at looking for ones on the ground especially.
