Saturday 21 April 2012: I blow candles out!

The moment Miss Pink has been waiting for very patiently all week! Desperate to eat her peppa pig birthday cake!

We had the grandparents here for tea, aswell as a couple of friends who popped in during the afternoon. It was just enough for Miss Pink, she still was very hesitant to open presents but enjoyed having her grandparents here to make a fuss of her.

This morning we had a rough start, Master Pink was in a shouty and showy off mood, and it took two hour of following through with consequences and trying not to shout loudly before he gavein, apologised and tried to be a bit more pleasant.
We stayed at home this morning, Master Pink dressed up as buzz lightyear, and Miss Pink dressed up in her new butterfly fairy costume (thankyou Auntie and uncle Pink). We had lunch at church. The church has a cafe once a monthish and we went along to enjoy some scrummy sandwiches. And then back home again to ice buns and lay the party table for tea.

Friends popped in, Master Pink had playmates who didn't tire of playing board games with him, Miss Pink had an older girl tofollow round and play dollies with. And we had a great time watching them, and chatting, and then eating the longed for Peppa Pig cake.

Now it's time for a well deserved wine o' clock.
