Despite a hazy start to the day, Rebecca and I did a circuit of the Harewood Estate this morning.

As expected, the bluebells were stunning on the Woodland Walk. The sun shone all the way. Red Kites were mewing above us. Spring-coated Fallow Deer posed in the lower field. Two Greater Spotted Woodpeckers drummed to each other as we sat on the bench for coffee.

Later : Just remembered that I've blipped this walk before, HERE. Instead of warm and sunny, that time it was very cold. So cold, in fact, the heat from my cup of coffee melted the frost on the bench. The cup slipped off the bench, spilling the drink before I could even start it!
